Pacific cod from Alaska is a lean and mild white fish that’s high in protein, low in fat and incredibly versatile. Containing a higher moisture content than Atlantic cod, Pacific cod has a delightfully robust texture that is wonderful when baked or steamed. A fillet of Pacific cod is a creamy white color that sometimes has dark patterns on its underbelly.
