Pacific cod from Alaska is a lean and mild white fish that’s high in protein, low in fat and incredibly versatile. Containing a higher moisture content than Atlantic cod, Pacific cod is a creamy white color that sometimes has dark patterns on its underbelly. Loaded with essential nutrients and omega-3 fatty acids, Pacific cod from Alaska also boasts high amounts of phosphorus, which is known to protect bone health among other health benefits.
