Just a Little Note to Say Thank You, Dear Members
November 27th, 2025We’re Grateful for You This Thanksgiving
I’ll keep this one short and sweet, as I imagine many of you are away from your inboxes for the day. The WAC team has been doing a bit of traveling themselves, so we’re enjoying the day away from our desks!
Most recently, a small group of WAC team members convened in Seattle for Salmon Week, where area restaurants championed Bristol Bay sockeye on their menus. The culinary celebration coincided with the Pacific Marine Expo, an industry-facing event where the team was busy at the WAC booth (featuring custom processor Home Port Seafoods, the wholly-owned subsidiary that the company acquired in 2023). Gatherings like this are prime opportunities to bond and break bread with each other, fostering one of WAC’s core values of creating shared experiences.
Also, in case you missed my note last week: you, dear members, were instrumental in WAC’s fundraising initiative for Western Alaska communities affected by Typhoon Halong. Together with the WAC teammates and a donation match from the company, we raised over $50K to support recovery and relief efforts, which will directly support families in the Yukon–Kuskokwim Delta — many of whom are contending with an uncertain future.
With that, I simply want to thank you again for your incredible generosity and being part of the Wild Alaskan Company membership in ways that keep us connected as a community. We are especially grateful for you this Thanksgiving!
Live Wild,
Monica
