How to Air Fry Sablefish With Miso Marinade

September 10th, 2025

From the Marinated and Seasoned Collection

Our pre-packaged Sablefish With Miso Marinade from the brand new Marinated and Seasoned Collection is a weeknight dinner hero: tender, rich, and full of savory-sweet flavor with barely any prep involved. Air frying is our preferred cooking method, as it best enhances both the texture and flavor of the fish. It’s fast, convenient, and crisps up the edges of the fillet while keeping the inside buttery and tender. It's also the best option if you're looking to cook the sablefish from frozen.

Whether you’re starting from thawed or frozen, you can get dinner on the table in under 20 minutes from start to finish. If you don't yet have pre-marinated Sablefish With Miso Marinade in your kitchen, try this recipe for 3-Ingredient Miso Sablefish.

Yield

1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) portion Sablefish with Miso Marinade
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.

2. Generously spray the air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the miso sablefish fillet skin-side down in the basket, brushing with any reserved marinade if desired. Discard remaining marinade.

3. Air fry thawed sablefish for 8 to 10 minutes, or 10 to 12 minutes for frozen sablefish, depending on the thickness of the fillet. It’s ready when the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F internal temperature.

4. Let rest for 1 minute before serving, then enjoy.

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness, especially if you have a certain medical condition. The FDA recommends an internal temperature of 145°F for cooked fish.
