Game Day Recipe Ideas

January 22nd, 2024

Appetizers and Small Bites for Festive Gatherings

Wild-caught seafood can add festivity and variety to any Game Day snack spread. From salmon sliders to crab-stuffed appetizers, these seafood-inspired Game Day recipe ideas are full of flavor and fun to share.

Zesty Sour Cream and Dill Rockfish Dip

rockfish dip

Rockfish is a bold white fish to use in this creamy fish dip recipe. Its robust flavor is a delicious balance to zesty sour cream, livened up with the addition of scallions and dill. Because it’s so quick to make, the dip is perfect to serve at a festive gathering, or simply to make as a weekend snack.

Pollock Buffalo Bites

These crispy, hot, bite-sized Wild Alaska Pollock buffalo bites are a perfect addition to any Game Day appetizer spread and are easy to make. A toss in cornstarch will give the quick cuts a crispy finish after 2-3 minutes in the hot oil. Once finished, the Wild Alaska Pollock is ready to be coated in a homemade buffalo sauce and served up.

Ground Sockeye Sliders

These salmon burgers are full of flavor, good-for-you fats, and hearty enough to load up with all of your favorite toppings. They’re also quick and easy to make, coming together in as little as 15 minutes when you’re using ground sockeye salmon.

Crab Stuffed Mushroom Bites

This seafood appetizer marries together two classics — stuffed mushrooms and mini crab cakes — to create an entirely new recipe for crab stuffed mushrooms. Sweet, buttery chunks of Dungeness crab meat take center stage of this filling when paired with simple aromatics like lemon zest, shallot, and garlic.
