This zippy crab dipping sauce is reminiscent of a crab boil, but with all of the flavors melted down into a butter. The Cajun butter is made with a mix of fresh ingredients like lemon & garlic, and dry spices from a dash of Cajun seasoning. You can either use storebought seasoning, or make your own batch using this easy Cajun-inspired spice blend that can be made using pantry spices.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, divided
- 10 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 yellow onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Heat medium saucepan on medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, and garlic and onion. Cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
2. Add in remaining butter and remaining ingredients. Cook until Cajun butter comes together, about 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve warm.
