Growth Marketing Specialist, Paid Social

Brooklyn, New York


We’re looking for a bright, skilled, motivated and data-driven media buyer/advertiser to drive our paid social initiatives forward. You care about ROAS and have the ability to find the little edges that make campaigns go from red to black. Your day will consist of managing and testing our ads on social (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.), collaborating on new angles and forecasting the next pocket/demo of traffic to tackle. You’ll work directly with the Head of Growth to hone your skills and generate massive growth for the company.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Set up, test, scale and manage ad campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Build strong relationships with Facebook and other platform reps, while testing and optimizing campaigns to drive performance improvements and unlock new acquisition volume
  • Work closely with other members of the growth team to develop new ads/creative, including landing pages
  • Use your strong data skills to quickly optimize campaigns
  • Stay current on ad trends, tricks and levers across platforms and networks to boost conversions
  • Attend educational and industry events to ensure our team stays up to date on the latest tactics and software
  • Closely track metrics, including return on ad spend, conversion rates, average order value and traffic volume across various campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS


Requirements

  • 2+ years of paid customer acquisition experience (e-commerce experience a must) or equivalent experience in analytical/strategic roles in management
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Expert Knowledge in Facebook Ads Manager
  • Knowledge of Facebook ad compliance (what gets approved and why)
  • Fundamental understanding of what increases conversions on ads
  • Experience optimizing, scaling and tracking the profitability of campaigns
  • A track record of using data to form insights and test hypotheses
  • Ability to test ads, avoid ad burnout and collaborate with a team to produce new creative
  • Fluency in Google Analytics and Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with the latest advertising trends and software

Nice To Haves

  • Retargeting experience
  • A background in copywriting and/or email flows, campaigns
  • Proficiency in SEM, Native
  • Experience selling subscription products
  • Exposure to digital product processes
