FSQA/Compliance Manager

Brooklyn, New York / Portland, Oregon


You have a keen attention to detail, are extremely organized, and possess the gumption to create, implement, and ensure compliance for new and/or current processes. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will inject the FSQA and Complaint Management processes you create into everyday workflow, and have the same level of comfortability enforcing these programs with our suppliers and partners. In addition, you would directly communicate with key partners at our fulfillment centers and last mile logistics to remedy any outlier issues reported from our members. Every day, you will strive to develop more structure centered around creating the best and safest experience for our members.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Complaint management
  • Root cause analysis
  • FSMA/FSQA plan writing/implementation
  • Food safety documentation management
  • Supplier onboarding
  • 3PL management of complaints and non-compliance
  • Last mile logistics resolution

QUALIFICATIONS


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of applicable experience
  • Background in food safety (specifically with CPG and e-commerce)
  • 3PL Experience
  • Seafood industry knowledge
  • FSMA knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • PQCI Certified
  • HACCP Certified
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Operations experience
